  • Recently, the China Association for Science and Technology (CAST) officially released the list of journals selected in the "China S & T Journals Capacity Improvement and Expansion Program". Following rigorous processes of targeted recommendations, academic screening, comprehensive evaluations, and disclosure, a total of 195 high-level S & T journals were selected in the list in China. Chinese Journal of Parasitology and Parasitic Diseases is successfully included in the program due to its high academic quality and significant industry impact.

"China S & T Journals Capacity Improvement and Expansion Program" is a key initiative launched by CAST to support the great goal of building China into a world leader in science and technology by 2035. The program aims to identify and nurture a batch of outstanding S & T journals that hold critical importance for China’s S & T innovation and industrial development, possess high academic standards, and present strong growth potential. These journals will serve as a reserve force for the future development of the “China S & T Journals Excellence Action Plan”.

All Journals selected in this program will receive continuous policy and resource supports over the next three years. These supports are designed to help journals enhance their academic leadership, strengthen international competitiveness, and achieve sustainable development, thereby improving the overall quality of China’s S & T journals and facilitating their progress towards world-class standards.

We sincerely express our gratitude to leaders at all levels, editorial board members, reviewers, authors, and readers that have consistently concerned about and supported the development of Chinese Journal of Parasitology and Parasitic Diseases. The journal will take this opportunity as a new starting point to continuously optimize the operational mechanisms, improve academic quality, and build a more premium platform for academic exchanges among researchers working in the field of parasitology, thereby providing better services for the advancement of the discipline and S & T progresses.
