      The World Journal Clout Index  (WJCI) Report  of S&T Periodicals (2023 STM) was published in November 2023, and the Chinese Journal of Parasitology and Parasitic Diseases was honored to be included. It has been included in WJCI  for 4 years.



       







    WJCI report introduction

    The WJCI report was project research united by Institute of Scientific and Technical Information of China,Chinese Academic Journal (CD Edition) Electronic Publishing House Co.Ltd,Library of Tsinghua University,Wanfang Data Co.Ltd,and Society of China University Journals . The results of the association's special funded project "Study on the Comprehensive Evaluation Method of the Influence of International Sci-tech Journals" (2019KJQK004). 

    The WJCI report aims to scientifically, comprehensively and reasonably explore evaluation methods for the academic influence of global journals, establish a brand-new journal evaluation system, fully demonstrate China's transformation and contribution in the field of academic evaluation, and promote the fair evaluation and homogeneity of global sci-tech journals Equivalent use.

    The WJCI report determines the proportion of source journals in each country/region from four dimensions: R&D investment, research paper output, the number of researchers, and the size and level of the journal. After rigorous review, the WJCI report included 14,287 global sci-tech journals, accounting for about 25% of the 60,000 global sci-tech journals (equivalent to being located in Q1), of which 1,426 Chinese sci-tech journals were included, accounting for more than 6,000 in China 25% of various scientific journals.
