Restatement | Warning: Fraudulent Activities Impersonating?Chinese Journal of Parasitology and Parasitic Diseases

• Recently, the editorial department of Chinese Journal of Parasitology and Parasitic Diseases has been frequently informed that authors received emails from scammers impersonating editors of the journal to be requested for adding them on WeChat or joining in the editorial department’s WeChat groups or QQ groups on the ground of "publications are selected for verification," "publication notice," "cancellation of publication," or "retraction of the publication". In addition, fake websites impersonating?Chinese Journal of Parasitology and Parasitic Diseases?have been also found, requesting authors for payment of "manuscript processing fees" or "publication fees." These actions have severely tarnished our journal's reputation and may cause author s’ financial losses.

  
  Hereby, the journal solemnly reminds all authors to enhance their awareness of prevention, distinguish between genuine and fake communications, and avoid falling victim to scams. If authors experience any financial losses, please contact local public security authorities immediately. Please recognize our journal's official contact to prevent being deceived.
