Factors Affecting the Endemic Intensity of Echinococcosis

Abstract: Echinococcosis is an important parasitic zoonosis with worldwide distribution. The endemicity degree of echinococcosis differs with regions and is influenced by various factors. This paper reviews the biological, environmental and social factors which may affect the endemic intensity of echinococcosis.
