Diagnosis and Treatment of Major Protozoal Infections among Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome Patients

Abstract

Abstract: Protozoal infection is one of the most important opportunistic infections among patients with acquired immune deficiency syndrome（AIDS）. In order to enhance the knowledge of protozoal infections in AIDS， the current status of diagnosis and treatment of toxoplasmic encephalitis， cryptosporidiosis， microsporidiosis and isosporiasis was reviewed in this paper.
