A Searching System of Parasite Pictures and Relevant Information

Abstract: Over 3 000 pictures on five major parasites（schistosome，filaria，hookworm，leishmania and plas-modium）collected between 1950 and 1990 were edited and a searching system was established. The data can be used with a network-based version through a LAN system in the Institute. The adoption of Digital Computerized Management makes it possible for sharing resources in human parasitology.
