Abstract: This article reports on 3 cases treated with biltricide 120-180 mg/kg in 8-30 days. The symptoms and signs such as epilepsy and headache were markedly improved. The symptoms and signs such as muscular pseudohypertrophy and weakness recovered following the reduction in number and size of subcutaneous and intramuscular nodules 1/2-2 months after treatment. Further improvement was noted at 4-9 months after therapy, suggesting that biltricide is effective against cysticercosis and its complicating muscular pseudohypertrophy.
