Abstract: Hydatid cysts were surgical specimens obtained from 36 cases with pulmonary and hepatic hydatidocystis in Xinjiang Province. The pathological changes of the external capsules of 20 cysts and the corneum of internal capsules of 16 cysts were described. The pathogenetic mechanism and significance of these changes were discussed.
