Functional Change of Dendritic Cells/Regulatory T Cells/T-helper 17 Cells and the Mechanism of its Cross-regulation in Malaria

Abstract

Abstract: The cross-regulation of dendritic cells （DC）/regulatory T cells （Treg）/T-helper cells （Th17） is a complex process that involves multiple signals. During Plasmodium infection， the interaction of DC， Treg， and Th17 influence the cross modification， and induce activation of DC/Treg/Th17 to regulate Th1/Th2 polarization and control the dynamic balance of Th immune response by cytokines. This article summarizes the change in cell function of DC/Treg/Th17 and the mechanism of its cross-regulation in malaria.
