Abstract: In this paper the authors describe an in vitro cultivation method for recovery of Toxoplasma gondii tropohozoites in which pig kidney cells were used. The result showed that when 2×106 trophozoites were inoculated in 199-Hanks' culture medium, the number of trophozoites multiplied was 20-50 times greater in six to seven days.It is suggested that this proved to be an economical method for collecting Toxoplama trophozoites as antigen materials.
