Abstract: Seroepidemiological survey of human trichinosis by means of PVC membrance ELISA was perfomed in Ningxia. The total number of residents examined was 7810, and sero-positivity was recorded in 132 cases, the positive rate being 1.7%. The sero-positivity rate of males and females were 1.8% and 1.6% respectively, no significant difference was found between both sexes (F0.05). The sero-positivity rate of Han nationality (1.9%) was higher than that of Hui nationality (1.1%) (P0.06).
