Solid Medium-Filter Paper Cultivation of Ancylostoma caninum Larvae

Abstract: 【Abstract】 Consisted of beef extract(3 grams)，peptone(10 grams)，sodium chloride(5 grams)，agar(20 grams) and distilled water，the solid medium was used with filter paper for cultivation of the larvae of Ancylostoma caninum. The method shows higher detection rate and simpler operation than the traditional test tube-filter paper culture technique.
