Abstract: At the end of 2019, the epidemic of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) brought new challenges to the diagnosis and treatment of other diseases such as malaria. If malaria patients are misdiagnosed, the illness may become severe or even life-threatening. Furthermore, if improperly protected and handled against the epidemic, not only malaria patients may be infected with the novel coronavirus during the process seeking for medical care, but medical staff will also face potential high risks. Therefore, to provide reference for health care workers, this paper focuses on how to perform good practice for malaria diagnosis and treatment under the current COVID-19 epidemic, and provides recommendations for the standardized diagnosis and treatment process of malaria patients.
