荧光定量PCR确诊1例输入性恶性疟病例

摘要:  采用镜检法和荧光定量PCR法对青田县1例输入性疟疾患者血样进行检测。镜检结果显示,患者血样的薄、厚血片中均发现恶性疟原虫,但其原虫密度均较低,为240个/μl血;PCR结果显示,该血样恶性疟原虫特异性DNA片段阳性,确诊为恶性疟原虫感染。

Abstract: The whole blood sample from a patient with imported falciparum malaria was tested by microscopic examination and fluorescence quantitative PCR. Microscopic examination results showed that Plasmodium falciparum parasites were found in the thick and thin blood films with a low parasite density of 240 parasite/μl of blood. The specific DNA fragment of P. falciparum was amplified by fluorescence quantitative PCR, and this case was further confirmed as P. falciparum infection.
