在大鼠体内产生夏氏疟原虫高配子体血症的初步研究

摘要: 以切脾的幼年大鼠经尾静脉接受有夏氏疟原虫高原虫血症的小鼠血液,2d后其血肉出现配子体,第4d配子体血症达高峰,以后数量下降,至第8~9d已为数很少。配子体血症的高低与大鼠切脾时间和注入的原虫数量有关。在大鼠体内的夏氏疟原虫配子体活力正常,为研究此种原虫配子体的生理生化及免疫学提供了材料。

Abstract: Large numbers of Plasmodium chabaudi gametocytes can be produced in the splene-ctomized Wistar rats 3-4 days after the intravenous inoculation of high parasitaemia mouse blood. On the 8-9th day, the number of gametocytes reduced greatly. The level of gametocytaemia was related to the time of splenectomy and the amount of the infected blood inoculated. The gametocytes in the rat were normal in their ability of exflagellation and their infectivity to anophelines.
