青海省循化撒拉族自治县人群寄生虫感染现状

Abstract: Abstract As part of the nationwide survey of human parasite program performed in Qinghai Province, related performance was carried out in Xunhua Sala Autonomous County of the Province. Of the 514 local residents examined, 378 were found to be parasitized, showing an overall infection rate of 73.5%. The infection rates of 11 detected parasite species were disclosed as: Ascaris lumbricoides 44.2%; Enterobius vermicularis (below 12 years old) 6.4%; Entamoeba histolytica and Balantidium coli , one case for each; Entamoeba coli 20.8%; Endolimax nana 13.6%; Iodamoeba buetschlii 4.9%; Entamoeba hartmanni 3.1%, Giardia lamblia 15.6%, Blastocystis hominis 19.5%, Taenia saginatta 1.0%. Among the infected people, those showing polyparasitism amounted to 48.4% of the total. All of the age groups showed infection rates above 50%, while the groups of 0-9 years and 10-19 years were most severely affected, showing infection rates of 71.1% and 83.2%, respectively. Occupation based assessment indicated significantly higher infection rates in farmers (64.9%), pupils and middle school students (84.8%) and pre school children (74.0%). The high prevalence of human parasitic infections in situ is presumably attributed to geographical and metereological features as well as dietary habits in Sala community.
